This page is for getting help with NightPass Handoff. If something is not working, or you have a question this page does not answer, write to us — a real person reads every message.
Sign in, then enter your hospital name and a shift code of your choosing. Any code works — if no board exists for it yet, one is created for you. Give the same code to the clinician covering with you and you will both see the same board, updating live.
This is by design, and it is the most common question we get. All clinical content is deleted automatically 48 hours after it is written. Nothing is recoverable after that point, by you or by us. If you need to keep a handoff, generate the PDF from the Handoff tab before the shift ends.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to have a reset link sent to your email address. If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us. If you had Face ID sign-in switched on and changed your password somewhere else, the app will ask for your password once and then work normally again.
Settings → enable biometric sign-in, and confirm with your account password. Your password is stored in the device keychain and never sent to our servers. It is entirely optional — the app works exactly the same with a typed password. Be aware that anyone who can unlock your phone can then open your account.
Access codes are complimentary grants that we issue directly, free of charge — usually to colleagues, pilot sites, and testers. They are not sold, they cannot be bought anywhere, and they have no cash value. If someone offers to sell you one, it is not from us. Enter the code under Settings → Access → Redeem an access code.
NightPass Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. To view, change, or cancel it, open the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date stops the next charge; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We cannot cancel or refund an App Store subscription on your behalf — refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Open Settings → Access → Restore Purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still does not appear, email us and we will sort it out.
In the app: Settings → Delete My Account, then confirm with your password. This is immediate and cannot be undone — it removes your sign-in account, your saved hospital profiles, and your record of accepting our legal documents. You can also ask us to do it by writing to privacy@claritasventuresllc.com.
No. NightPass is a private notepad for your own shift notes. It does not diagnose, treat, dose, or offer clinical decision support of any kind, and it does not connect to any hospital system or health record. You remain responsible for following your own institution's policies on where patient information may be recorded — which is why we ask you to enter patient identifiers rather than full names.
iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18 or later, Android phones, and any modern web browser. The same account and the same shift boards work across all of them.
Email support@claritasventuresllc.com with what happened, what you expected instead, and roughly when it occurred. Screenshots help — but please crop or redact any patient information before sending one.
If the problem concerns the security or privacy of clinical data, say so in the subject line and we will treat it as urgent.
